Water's got to be on the way because plenty of people before you have made that trip, and nobody's walked out with cholera or hepatitis yet, despite the fact that most of them are dumb as bricks and probably wouldn't think to boil water they found in the first place. On the other hand, you could always try ransacking Mom's. Might find something useful in there.
