Brief description of your world: Boring island. Not much to do. Other worlds exist, but I never actually got to see them before I showed up here. Apparently monsters called Heartless exist and trip out people's hearts. Some of the most powerful weapons out there are giant, magical keys and every world has its own set of rules. Like talking mice, for one. Since all those worlds follow their own sort of logic, it's hard to describe everything in full, especially since I never got to see much of it. You'd be better off asking Sora, Kairi, Ven, or Vanitas. Terra too, probably. And Minnie actually is one of those talking mice, so there's that.
As for tech, it's all pretty 'modern'. Computers, TV, phones... Nothing super futuristic, but it's not too far from the way things work here. And no, it's not earth. The world's just called "Destiny Islands.

My parents have some pretty solid income, though. Not many people on the islands have a balcony at their house.
Circumstances surrounding your abduction: Nothing special. My friends and I were just hanging out, gathering supplies for our trip to other worlds, and engaging in a little friendly competition.
Your history here: Never gone back. I've been here since the very beginning, faced all the Gym Leaders in both regions, seen just about everything Johto has to offer and a huge chunk of Kanto, and now I run a Training Center. My team's pretty overpowered, too, but that comes from a pretty strict training routine.
Circumstances around arrivals from other people from your world: It varies a lot. The second and third timet Kairi and Sora were here, they were closer to my time, but before and after that, they came from the future. Nobody from my time is around right now. It's kind of frustrating, honestly.
There were others here before, but they left ages ago. Didn't bother listing them then, but... Master Eraqus, Aqua, Mickey Mouse, Goofy, a data copy of me, Lea, and I think that's it? I'm probably missing a few. Most of these guys haven't been here in months, if not years.
Circumstances around disappearances by other people from your world: Nothing. They just vanished out of the blue. Sometimes they'd disappear after each other (second time Kairi and Sora were here), but it was probably still a coincidence.
Frequency of 'replacements': Sora's been here... five times now. First time was from the future, second through fourth times weren't, and now he's from the future again. Sora's come back with memories twice, but this time around he forgot everything.
Kairi's been here four times. Twice from around my time, twice from the future.
Terra's been here three times, and he forgot about it each time. Vanitas has been here twice. Came back without memories the second time.
Haven't kept any close tabs on the others. Most have stuck around.

Sora and Kairi are my friends. Both of them are from my future, after we get to see other worlds and wind up saving them for good measure. Sora's got one of those Key weapons I mentioned-- a Keyblade. So do Ven, Terra, and Vanitas, but they're all from the past. Minnie's a queen from a world with talking animals. As for Demyx, Xion, Naminé, and Roxas... I don't know much about them, honestly.
