Reid finally averted his gaze, satisfied that he had gotten his point across and uncomfortable with staring Rossi down any longer, despite the fact he picked up on the affection. It... felt nice to see that. He liked the affection, as subtle as it was. "You just figured that out? I'd think that the whole 'hiding a stalker from your team' thing would have convinced you."

It was simultaneously teasing and serious. Reid may not show it like everyone else, but he was upset that Rossi had hidden something like that. Maybe if he had talked about it, he wouldn't have ended up in the hospital.
