Profiling Permission/Information!

Reid is a profiler. That means he can deduce everything about you by walking into your bedroom.

Here, if you specifically DON'T want him to be able to profile your characters, please say so and we'll figure out an IC reason he can't together.

Alternatively, if you want to help me have him profile your character, please tell me a bit about them and their mannerisms either in brackets are right here. Thank you!

Yes, exactly! It's worth noting that later episodes of the show, particularly the Season Two finale, really seem to support this viewpoint, providing us with two other ponies Twilight was familiar with as a child but started having less and less contact with as she grew older, her older brother Shining Armor and her foalsitter Princess Cadence. Her relationships with both were extremely close and she still seems to practically worship the ground they walk on, almost as much as she does with Celestia. In other words, even as a child she loved and indulged in interpersonal contact, but she never seemed to realize it because when it came to the people she was having that contact with, she just figured it was natural that she loved them.

Which brings us to something else I neglected to mention. Twi's not very self-aware. She rarely seems to turn her intelligence to actively studying and getting to know herself, which is one of the primary reasons (aside from simple lack of practice) that she keeps making those faux-pas. She doesn't ever seem to ask herself why she, for example, thinks the world of Princess Celestia, she just does. It's an interesting little blind spot for a character who's so driven to deconstruct and analyze just about everything.
