CR Chart for Route

If you feel like your character should be on this, just comment to let me know! This isn't necessarily exhaustive.

There are a very few people Reid would definitively call a 'friend', even if the other person would probably call them friends without hesitation. The reason for this is because Reid has a history of being abused by others and can't read people's feelings towards him very well, so he's very hesitant about calling anyone a friend. It's not due to any lack of affection on his part.

PANFANDOM

Dr. Albert Rosenfield[❡ ✠ ✔ (✿?)]
❝ Albert, you're good people. Abrasive and blunt people, but good people. Albert has consistently grabbed Reid by the metaphorical scruff of his neck and shaken him to his senses whenever he's panicking or upset or just plain isn't considering the obvious. Reid's very grateful for it, and actually likes Albert a lot despite how sarcastic he can be. Also, FBI/nerd bro. ❞

Carmen Sandiego[❡ ✔ ➷ (...❤)]
Carmen Sandiego, you challenge him intellectually, you give him puzzles, and best of all, you do all of that without killing people. It's like all the best parts of his job with none of the grisly nightmare-inducing bits. Also, he had fun with her games when he was a child, so that also gives him a soft spot for her.

Chi Yamada[❢ ¿]
Why do you speak in third person? And why didn't your parents tell you what a book was?

Crow Hogon[⟲]
He likes Crow because he can tell that he is a good person, but Crow doesn't really like him since he's a fed. Reid would like that to change, partially because he doesn't want to have any enemies, and partially because he just doesn't like making people uncomfortable.

Dale Cooper[❡ ✠ ✔ (✿?)]
Coop has been consistently kind, and Reid really appreciates that. Also, FBI bro. Can't beat an FBI broship.

Fluttershy[❡ ✔ (✿?)]
Fluttershy manages to make his Pokemon stop misbehaving, and that's a major plus in his book. Fluttershy's shyness and gentle nature somewhat mirrors his own, which automatically puts him at ease with her, and besides Mio, she's the only one who explicitly knows about his nightmares. Mostly because Flora's a blabbermouth.

Gordon Cole[❡ ✠ ✔ ]
Why do you hate his ears, Gordon?

Reid likes and respects Gordon, but he also has come to see him as a superior (which he is if one's just looking at FBI hierarchy), so he's more likely to clam up a bit around him until they know each other better. Reid is very aware that he stumbles over himself socially, and he tries not to do it around superiors (that are not Hotch) if he can at all help it.

Heather Mason[ ¿ ✔ ]
She acts like a healthy young woman, but Reid can't help but get the sense that something is off. He can't put his finger on it from their two innocent conversations and her survey, but whatever it is, it puts him on edge.

Otherwise, Reid likes her. She's been nothing but pleasant to him the whole time he's been here, if a little more familiar than he's entirely comfortable with.

Hope Estheim[ ❡ ]
Yay, fellow intellectual! Also, yay, fellow intellectual who's willing to help Reid out if he needs it! He doesn't know much about Hope, but he likes what he's seen so far.

Mio Amakura[ ❡ ❢ ✔ ✿ ]
First person he met here. He's been traveling with her since the start, and she is probably just as thoroughly traumatized as he is. He doesn't know why her dreams are just as bad as his; all he knows is that it had something to do with the death of her twin sister.

Since she's only fifteen, he feels responsible for making sure she's okay. By default he treats her like an adult, but he tries to give her some semblance of an education and will step in if it seems like she needs help with something.

She's the only one here who knows all about his migraines, sleep difficulties, and a big chunk of what his life was like back home.

Twilight Sparkle[ ❡ ✔ (✿?) ]
Twilight's is probably one of the faces Reid is happiest to see, mostly because they have a lot in common and she understands how to deal with him (by engaging him with something intellectual if he's upset or by being very straight forward if he doesn't get something, for example). The only reason he hesitates to call her a friend is because he doesn't know if the feeling is mutual, and he will protect himself as long as he's not sure of that.

They agreed to explain their worlds to each other, which Reid is excited about.
